To start off I’d like to mention Grow Home, an ingenious game that isn’t quite what we’d class an indie game exactly but it has all the great qualities of one. The game is based off a robot trying to get back to his ship harnessing the power of a star plant that grows exponentially when you hold onto it. There are loads of great aspects to the game so we suggest you check them out!
I’m sure by now we’ve all heard of Super Meat Boy and if you haven’t you’re in for a real treat. This game is shear brilliant and the art style to the game is superb, I really can’t praise the game enough for what it is. If you haven’t already please do see what all the fuss is about!
The Stanley Parable has been around for quite a long time now and has been upgraded quite a lot since its original release in terms of both graphics and story lines. Honestly this game is mind blowing and a little tricky to describe, if I were you I wouldn’t hesitate to download the game and see what I mean. Oh and which door will you choose, the left? Or the Right one? Will it matter?
Finally for this short round up I’d like to end with Hotline Miami, a fantastic top down shooter with a really compelling story line. The gameplay is unbelievably addictive and the pixel art to the game is fantastic, leaving it is one of our favourite indie games!
Thanks for reading and if there are any Indie games you’d like to mention, comment and let us know!
